the Art of Robb Rich on the Railroad
Collector cloth is a term I like to use for the gear I like to design, wear, and sell. The wearing of the art is obviously for railroad people who agree, and say it, on their gear.
I'm not in the T-shirt business... yet... but the guy who makes my T- shirt is, and in that world of T-shirts and gear...ie... bags... sweatshirts... hoodies... hats etc. there are different manufacturers with different capabilities... my concern with those capabilities is the interpretation of my artwork on clothing and gear for my railroad world clientele.
I have a very small but magic studio, with a lot of things going on. I stay away from overwhelming demographics that threatened to make me a robot. My T-shirts help keep this website alive from year-to-year... with a small, but reasonable number of fans, and gift givers. I don't intend to see these shirts all over the place, like some other more famous brands.
It is a small number of folks setting a simple criteria for membership in Urban Legend Railroads " Visual Stroll"... There's no signing up for anything... no information demanded...

It is a small number of fans that keep the website going so we can keep presenting Free "Scale Model Shows" and other little railroad wonders for fans that keep Urban Legend Railroad as a fantasy hangout.. With or without a den or depot style space.
*ART*...Sometimes I use color, but most of my artwork for urban legend railroad apparel & printing is in the black and white medium as it lends itself more comfortably and dynamically to old-fashioned railroad mood, and 19th-century memorabilia tones... But this could always change, so I hope you enjoy it for exactly what it is........

Please remember that all the original art, content, photography, and creativity on this website comes from a one-man studio... Which translated means one man's mind and handcraft... limited editions are not the manufacture of snob appeal for profit... but a response to the constraints of a one-man shop... So if It's hard for me to get... It's obviously going to be hard for you to get through me. That's how limited editions got started in the first place... Hard to get... And Overpriced...
These shirts are most definitely limited editions in every way, and frankly sometimes a real pain in the butt to get my hands on... but I really wanted some gear to represent urban legend railroad.
